Mountain biking is an extreme sport and each rider is responsible for their actions. Please ride with in your own ability at all times and listen to all advise and requests given whilst during the coaching session, each rider can vary in ability so please ride with in your control.
Acceptance of Risk
Mountain biking is physically demanding and extremely dangerous sport and may result in injury or death. Before riding any of the trails please be aware of the risks involved.
All of the trails are graded so before riding any trail make sure you are fully aware of the features and level of the trail and know that you are of a competent level to ride each trail before setting off. If unsure of any trails and features, walk each section so you are fully aware of the trail.
Riders MUST wear a helmet whilst during the coaching session, NO HELMET NO RIDING.
It is strongly advised that a full-face helmet is worn and that other safety equipment such as gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, body amour etc. is worn during the session.
Each rider is responsible for their own equipment and must ensure that all bikes and safety gear is fit for purpose. Katy Curd will take no responsibility to the damage of any bikes, equipment or personal damage/injuries to the rider or riders which may occur whilst on the coaching session.
It is highly advised to bring enough food and water to last for the full session as keeping energy levels up is an important part of riding and staying focused.
Each coaching session is a high-risk activity, to minimize risks please follow all health and safety procedures and follow all rules and advice given to you by your coach during the session. Failure to follow and listen to advise may result in serious injury.
I understand that mountain biking is a dangerous sport and involves physically demanding features. I take full responsibility and accept the risks involved during the coaching session and beyond.
I understand that I must wear a helmet for the full session and all other safety equipment recommended. I take full responsibility for my bike and equipment and will personally check all equipment before and during each session.
In the unlikely event of an accident or loss or damage to my personal effects, i acknowledge that Katy Curd will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or injury arising from or in connection with the coaching.
I certify that to the best of my knowledge I do not have any medical conditions which may result in making it more likely that a accident occurs causing serious damage or death to myself or others.

We aim to provide the best service we possibly can to allow you to enjoy your experience with Katy Curd Coaching, this is why we have set up these terms and conditions to keep you safe and have fun during your time with us. Please familiarise yourself with these conditions before you book your course.
Cancelation policy
Cancelations made by the client
Cancelations made by the client are non-refundable but can be transferable to another course date if done 14 days prior to the booked session.
Cancelations made by the client within 14 days of the booked session will be non-transferable and non-refundable.
Names and course dates may be amended 14 days prior to the booked session.
All our vouchers are non-refundable.
Cancelations made by Katy Curd Coaching
Katy Curd Coaching will always try deliver the booked course but on the rare occasion’s the session may have to be cancelled, a full refund will be given or an option to transfer to our next course
Courses may be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions (this could be decided the morning of the course) or if there are two or less people booked on to the course.
Katy Curd Coaching has the right to stop the coaching session at any time with out a refund being offered if any false information has been given by the client to the instructor which puts the coach or any other clients in danger and deems the session unsafe.
Your Health
When booking on to a course you are agreeing that to the best of your knowledge:
You are not suffering from any illness or condition that would put you at risk taking part in physical activity especially mountain biking.
You are not taking any medication that would put yours or anyone else’s health at risk during the mountain bike session
You health and fitness meets the requirements needed to take part in the booked session.
Mountain biking is a highly dangerous activity, although we endeavour to keep you safe during the session we highly recommend each individual takes out their own personal accident insurance before taking part in our course.
